Jazmyn's Story
She was 6, and diagnosed with kidney failure. She started out with a simple condition called kidney reflux disease and from improper diagnostics her kidneys were slowly being ruined until she only had one kidney functioning. After her health insurance coverage was dropped by the provider Jazmyn's health started to deteriorate. There were no longer plenty of funds for specialists and doctors to find a cure. Jazmyn needed help and her parents started looking elsewhere

for funds. Funds came from family, friends, co-workers, and charities, but not before a foreclosure, loss of vehicles and jobs. Two days before Christmas of 2003 Jazmyn had a double ureter tube transplant surgery and reconstruction of her bladder. After spending some time in the Phoenix Children's Hospital, Jazmyn was released to go home. If Jazmyn would not have had so many supporters she would not be alive today. We thank everyone everyday of her life for the support that they gave. Jazmyn is doing well and her only kidney has been saved. America's Hope Foundation is dedicated to restoring the hope of other families and children in need of support.
